Silfab is excited about our progress at our new state-of-the-art Fort Mill, South Carolina facility and we are now actively hiring for a number of full-time local job positions. These new positions will be creating American made products that will supply the growing energy needs across the country.
Here are a few positions that are currently available:
Marketing & Communications Manager
- Build and manage community partnerships, representing Silfab Solar to foster local connections and support within the solar industry.
- Engage with customers, distributors, and industry partners, focusing on the Southeastern region.
- Organize and lead facility tours and events for clients, stakeholders, and community members, both at our site and at industry events.
- Actively participate in local and solar industry communities to boost Silfab’s reputation and community connection.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to manage various integrated communications and marketing activities internally and externally.
- Ensure all operations staff are following and executing all operations and equipment safely.
- Oversee and provide constant training and technical assistance to all operation staff ensuring they are trained in and are following all work instructions and best practices.
- Report on any defective/non-conforming product.
- Perform quality control as required by the work instructions and as instructed by the production and quality leaders and staff.
- Ensure traceability of the product and its components through proper use of the Data Collection System and ensuring that the system is always active and functional.
- Adherence to maintain Production schedules/Plan. Achieve and update the production KPIs.
- Check the minimum stock of raw materials in production necessary to fulfill the production schedule, refilling and ordering as required.
- Support production and ensure that equipment process integrity is in place.
- Perform inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the equipment in accordance with operational instructions.
- Document routine manufacturing processes.
- Develop processes, test procedures and implement systems that ensure the solar modules and processes fulfill premium quality standards, meet and exceed safety regulations and client expectations.
- Develop, implement, test, analyze, revise and improve manufacturing processes.
- Be a driving force in continual improvement and corrective/preventative actions.
