Silfab Donates a Record-Setting Turkey Haul to Fort Mill Care Center

FMCC-Turkey-11-Revised

For many living through tough economic times, the joy of a home-cooked holiday meal remains a dream. Recently, Silfab Solar helped provide that opportunity for upstate South Carolinians, donating a record-setting 775 pounds of frozen turkeys and holiday foods to the Fort Mill Care Center.

We’ve never received so many turkeys in one drop-off,” said Candice Fairbanks, Executive Director at the Care Center.

The donated turkeys are available free of charge to York County residents in need who visit the center’s community pantry. When asked about the value of this contribution, Candice was frank – “we couldn’t do what we do without the generous support of York County businesses like yours.” Sharing the holiday spirit is core to the values of Silfab Solar, and we wish all residents of York County a happy, family-filled holiday season.

While we are proud to do our part, Silfab challenges other businesses and organizations in the area to match our donation – with our combined efforts, no one in York County will go without a holiday feast. To learn more about, or donate to, the Fort Mill Care Center, please visit their website at https://www.fortmillcarecenter.org/
