Recently, Silfab engaged with Pre-K through 12 students and families to help spark interest in science, technology, engineering, and math at the iMAGINE STEM Festival in Greenwood, SC. IMAGINE is a statewide initiative of South Carolina’s Coalition for Mathematics & Science (SCCMS) at Clemson University, whose mission is to ignite interest in STEM careers, promote education and workforce readiness, and connect students to 21st‑century industries. Through hands-on activities at the Silfab booth, including a solar-powered LEGO model, students explored how solar energy works and discovered the important role engineering and innovation play in building a cleaner energy future.

By providing opportunities for students to explore real-world applications of technology and renewable energy, Silfab can help turn that curiosity into future careers!
